In Matthew 11:28–30, Jesus invites those who are weary and burdened to come to Him, take His yoke, and learn from Him. A yoke joins two together so they move in the same direction, with the stronger one leading the way. Jesus calls us to stay close to Him, trust His strength, and follow where He leads.

 

Like an apprentice learning from someone more experienced, we are called to learn from Jesus and submit to His direction. His yoke does not mean there will be no work, challenges, or difficult roads ahead. It means we do not face them alone. As we remain yoked to Jesus, He carries what we cannot, guides our steps, and gives us the strength to do what He has called us to do.
