In Acts 18, Apollos was already a gifted teacher, eloquent, passionate, and knowledgeable in Scripture, yet he remained willing to learn. When Priscilla and Aquila helped him understand the way of God more accurately, Apollos received their instruction with humility, reminding us that spiritual maturity includes remaining teachable as we grow in our faith.

Like Apollos, we are called to keep growing in our understanding of God and remain open to the work of the Holy Spirit in our lives. God gives each of us different gifts, but those gifts are meant to point others to Christ rather than ourselves. As we seek Him, may we remain teachable, desire the gifts of the Spirit, and allow God to equip us to be faithful witnesses wherever He has placed us.
