Our Children’s Ministry is designed for all children from ages 6 months to 11 years old (Grade 5.) Our vision is to partner with parents in raising up a generation of children that will seek their God-given Kingdom Mission and impact our world for Jesus! In our kids’ service, we want every child to feel safe, have fun, make friends, learn God’s Word, grow in their personal relationship with Jesus and share His love with others.

Safe
Safety and security come first. We maintain high-security standards via strict check in and out procedures. All team members including volunteers have undergone background checks. Strict access measures to the children’s area are enforced. Children will only be released to the designated parent. All health protocols already outlined will be followed including the facilitation of distancing by monitoring the number of students per class.
Fun
Through age appropriate toys, games, object lessons, dramas, music and crafts. We know that if children have a fun church experience in their formative years, associating their time in church with joy they are less likely to fall away from church as adults. Our aim is to create a children’s ministry that inspires curiosity in the things of the Lord through real life testimonies and stories that inspire children to learn more about the risen Savior.
Learn
BC Kids connects children personally to Jesus Christ through powerful weekend services with Godly discipleship, energetic praise and worship, and engaging programs. We value every moment we are given to speak into the lives of our kids, and we place no limits on what God will do in them and through them. Our focus is the Word of God and experiencing God’s love through exciting age appropriate lessons that lead them not only to salvation, but also guides them in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
KEY DETAILS
Littles (2 – 5 Years)
Our Littles enjoy praise and worship, as well as prayer, bible stories through a fun and interactive curriculum, games and activities. Our energetic Littles also get to participate in small groups where they learn to pray for one another and are encouraged by their leaders. Our heart for our Littles is that they would love coming to God’s house, begin to understand the love of God for them, and develop amazing positive relationships with Jesus, volunteer teachers and friends. Parents can use the activity sheet their child takes home each week to reinforce the verse and bible story they learned about on Sunday and continue to develop their relationship with God.
Bigs (6-11 years)
Our elementary group of world changers are meeting Jesus as their savior and beginning to exercise their faith as they see and hear about miracles, signs and wonders in their Sunday services. This age group will experience incredible praise and worship where they are taught how to worship and enjoy the presence of God while they learn songs, they will want to sing all week long. They also get to hear a live message taught at their level with tons of interactive fun.
After the message, we break up into small groups where kids develop relationships with friends and leaders and are encouraged to be bold in their faith. Purposeful games and time to play together on our playgrounds are also key to our time in Bigs. We love that our Bigs have a desire to be in God’s house, a strong biblical foundation and a solid relationship with Jesus and the Holy Spirit by the time they walk into middle school and change the world!
Children will receive a name tag with an ID number and the parent will receive a tag with the same ID number. This is to make it easier for us to know that the right person is picking up children at the end of a service.

Children will be given a snack during the service

All children’s church volunteers go through and must be cleared for a criminal background check process.

When parents need to be contacted for emergencies or because their child is not settling in, the child’s ID number will be paged requesting the parent with a matching number to come attend to their child.
